Formerly known as Imminent Demise, the west coast powerhouse team is hungry for the weekend. This group of players has played with each other for years and have more chemistry than any team out there. With the recent addition of Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert over the past, their lineup has only grew stronger with a great utility player. They unarguably the team to beat in this championship weekend due to the fact of their consistent roster and teamwork they have accumulated in the past.

Check Six was the runner-up in the WCG Quailifer behind Turmoil, and will want some revenge even though they are on their way to Orlando as well to comepete in the USA finals. Despite the loss, you can bet that Check Six will learn from their mistakes in the past and use them to their advantage. If they can keep up their game and practice that extra inch, they will have no problem showing dominance throughout.

Even in the many stages of iDemise, you were going through various roster issues. You've been able to hold on to a few core players from the iD days and build off that with other raw talent. Have we seen the last of player changes for the team to create a stable lineup? Who would you say has made the biggest impact to your team thus far?

Shawn "Des1re" Khan: It has been really unfortunate that we have had to make as many roster changes as we did in the past several months. As a team it's tough when you have to make changes because of unfavorable circumstances, leaving us without a full team. Although making changes to our roster isn't our preferred option, we just want to play with five committed members. In our current situation we are now five guys with one goal in mind. We feel that everyone is on the same page and we've become close as a team. Picking a player is tough because I believe every player has had a great impact on our team and if we want to win we can't rely on the performance of a single individual. Check-Six has to overcome any challenge together as a team, and come to every match with our heads held high.

You guys competed in the WCG Qualifier last month in California and suffered a close loss in the finals against Turmoil. Now that you have a bit of an insight of how they will be playing, does this put you more ahead of the game on how to work around their tactics for the future?

By attending the WCG Qualifier we wanted to secure a spot in the WCG USA Finals, which we did. It was a tough loss considering, we had already beaten Turmoil twice on our way to the finals. As a team we succeeded in our goal of securing a spot to USA finals, which made us care less in our final match knowing that we had locked this spot. Check-Six had lost the intensity that we had played with earlier in the tournament. We learned from our mistake and will make sure it doesn't happen again in the future.

After a few weeks into the season, you guys were bumped into CEVO Pro. Even with some matches left to be forfeitted, you guys still managed to place second. Has being in the Pro division helped your mold team instead of playing in Semi-Pro?

It helped in a way that we took the league more serious. The competition got a little tougher and there is more money on the line. We go about playing each team the same, play 100 percent and win every round. We are happy with our seed going into the playoffs and will take advantage of that first round bye to get in some extra practice.

Are we likely to see Check Six in the finals? If so, who would you want your opponent to be and why?

We count on being in the finals. Right now we feel very confident going into these playoffs. Getting that first round bye and knowing the maps ahead of time, gives us more opportunities to prepare on certain maps. We have been practicing very hard for this upcoming WCG USA Finals Event and with Cevo Playoffs the weekened before will give us a great insite on how our team is progressing.
