Counter-Strike: EvilZone loses two

By: Luis Mira - Published September 05, 2007 at 10:46 PM EDT - Writer Archive
EvilZone has confirmed the departures of Sam "kvicken" Alvandpour and Arash "kylie" Parashpar.
The Swedish team failed to impress in the local KODE5 stop, having finished in 9-10th place after losing to Skillz of Borås in the opening round of the knockout stage.

Alvandpour and Parashpar have seen their names removed from the team's line-up following this poor campaign, a decision that seems to have been affected by problems within the squad.

"We had some problems with the line-up before the LAN event but we decided to stay with the original team to make a better result," Sonny "raxxe" Olofsson told GotFrag.com.

"Our goal was to take out some of the good teams and make it to top3, but after the bad results we, together with the management, decided to make some changes in the team."

EvilZone has already handed a trial to two new players, with the Swedish team being expected to unveil the new team in the forthcoming weeks.

EvilZone has now the following roster:

Sweden Sonny "raxxe" Olofsson
Sweden Jimmy "Nippo" Posth
Sweden Kim "Like" Bert
