Counter-Strike: emuLate, SWERUS skip ICC

EmuLate and SWERUS have cancelled their participation in the Intel Challenge Cup.

Both teams had been invited by the ICC organisation and were announced earlier this week as being part of the highest seed group.

The French side will miss the event as Mathieu "MaT" Leber, one of the team's players, wasn't able to get his passport in time for the tournament.

"Mathieu does not have a passport, he asked for it when we received the invitation to attend the ICC tournament but it did not arrive on time," Michael "HaRts" Zanatta told GotFrag.com.

Meanwhile, the European mix team SWERUS confirmed that Robert "RobbaN" Dahlstr�m and Dennis "walle" Wallenberg saw their visa request denied.

Although Filip "Neo" Kubski was able to get his visa, the Polish star said that he is no longer interested in flying to Russia to attend the event.

These departures leave the ICC with two places to fill only three days before the start of the event. The ICC organisation was unavailable to comment on this matter.

this event pretty much sucks now. no fnatic, PGS, SK, NiP, Emulate, NoA etc

oh well, Mibr will probably win and brazilians will say they're #1 in the world.

....but.....
brazilians are the biggest fanboys out there and beacause of that i dont like them (not brazlians, just nearly every brazilian mibr fan here on gotfrag)

There is nothing wrong with South Americas or Brazilians. The reason why you feel so hated is because Brazil is host to the most fan boys in the world. No where to be seen on GotFrag, then mibr win something and all of a sudden they're best in the world and all the Brazilians come onto gotfrag.

If they weren't so annoying no one would hate them so much.
