The Spanish World Cyber Games qualifier kicks off this Saturday with twenty-four teams playing for the berth in Seattle. Fresh from a first place in the EPS Finals, x6tence is being heavily favoured for this event. The Spanish giant has failed to impress in recent events and has the urge to return to the top flight. Its biggest threat will be redCode, a team led by the Spanish star Jonathan "MusambaN1" Torrent. RedCode finished in second place in the EPS Playoffs and will now try to avenge itself for this result. Moreover, teams like 4Frags.Banned-Brigade, OverGame and Last Tribe have the potential to mount a serious challenge for the top places and surprise the big names. UPDATE: According to arenazero.net, x6tence has been awarded a default win over redCode. Borja "GuMmY" Fernández left the server in the middle of the first half for unknown reasons, which resulted in the admins setting up the server for him to have 10.000$. This situation made Fernández have enough money to buy weapons for some of his team-mates, which eventually made redCode win the round. After the match, x6tence delivered a protest and the admins analysed the situation. Apparently redCode lied about the money the players had at that time, which resulted in a penalty and in the match being overturned. WCG 2007 Spain Grand Final

<3 spain, think reDcode
These, and the fact that he lied the admins about the amount of money he had, have been the reasons for the forfeit in favour of x6tence.
As x6tence have reached the Grand Final after a forfeit, this final is going to be played as a BO3 (best of three) game.
