PGSPokerStrategy insists the Counter-Strike team will not be signed by Meet Your Makers. ![]() The Danish organisation had engaged in talks with the Polish players with an offer that seemed to interest them, as it was "a lot better" than PGS' current one. According to Lukasz “LUq” Wnek, the players would receive a considerable salary boost, as well as the opportunity to attend more events, if they chose to represent Meet Your Makers. However, PGS confirmed that it has offered the players better conditions, with hopes of securing the team. The offer of attending more events seemed to have played a major role in the negotiations between the PGS organization and the Counter-Strike. “We will for sure attend the World Cyber Games, trying as well to qualify for the Kode5 finals," Wnek said. "There is another event coming up I can’t describe closer at the moment. "Next would be CPL Dallas and some bootcamps at our second home – Inferno Online in Stockholm." This said, PGSPokerStrategy will keep the Counter-Strike team, at least until the players' contracts expire. After this, the team is free to renew with PGS or open negotiations with another organisation. "We will stay at PGS at least until the end of the contracts," Wnek stated. "We are willing to win everything there is. Afterwards we will see what will happen. "I know there are going to be some 1.6 tournaments next year, thus we won’t be switching to Source yet, though it might happen.” Meanwhile, Wnek confirmed to be unhappy with the latest talks regarding the possibility of a move to a non-Polish organisation. "I have to admit, I was really surprised reading some comments, where we were told to sell our souls or to cheat on Poland," he said. "We don’t look at the matter through that viewpoint. We have arrived at a level, at which we needed better conditions to secure our further development. It feels sad watching the opinion of some people. "We won’t be playing Counter-Strike forever, being at the top now, we strive for the best possible conditions naturally."
