GotFrag reported last week Made in Brazil's desire to build a new Counter-Strike: 1.6 roster in case the current team was one of the two CGS Latin American picks.

The Brazilian organisation decided that it would either create a new team led by Bruno "bit" Lima, or sign a team and have Lima replace one of the players.

G3nerationX has agreed terms with Made in Brazil as this deal will provide the team with the necessary tools to scale greater heights.

"G3x will now be embraced by the mibr structure, which will make us become better and stronger to represent Brazil in all the events we decide to participate," Alexandre "gAuLeS" Bochi told GotFrag.com.

According to the team's captain, g3x's future is uncertain, but the name should still be related to events and tournaments in the country.

The new Made in Brazil team will have its official debut in the World Cyber Games event, which will take place from October 4-7th in Seattle.

After this tournament, roster changes will happen, as Lima will join the team. However, the name of the player that will be removed is still uncertain.

they called him to play at CGS, but he didn't accepted...he is not coming back...

it's very unlikely that gaules will go to CS:S.

First, because Rio Sinistro would have 2 in-game leaders, cogu and gaules.

Second, because during CGS, they tried to make Lance play for mibr and Jorginho, mibr's stand in, to play for g3x, so there could be 1 very strong line-up (since g3x had 3 stand-ins..btt and ton didn't have visas and fnx is under age..only gaules and lance from the original line-up)

So, after WCG, what will most likely happen is bit joining mibr 1.6 and Lance mibr cs:s.
Jorginho would be kicked from CS:S, since everybody plays better than him.

buuuuuuuut, if that is not possible (maybe because jorginho might have some rights or so), i don't know who would be out.
- ton is the awper.
- gaules captain and strat caller
- btt, lance and fnx are the options...
the 3 of them are amazing players.

#12 makes sense Lance to CS:S so bit can fill in the 5th slot for Mibr 1.6. The only other option I guess is btt becomes the 6th, or the long shot of gaules retireing(I think hes almost 25 now)

#28 maybe but that brings up the question of "what will they do after CGS" since you dont know if the current mibr lineup even wants to keep playing source. So many good 1.6 players its just impossible to guess what they will do(my guess would be mibr.css becomes the older player refuge cogu,gaules,cky,lance,bruno and 1.6 is nak, fnx, bit, btt ,ton)

#31 well I guess after CGS is over, Promod will take out. And with 10 mibr players, I know it's impossible to have 2 teams for the same game (CS:Promod).

I guess they will be seperated again back to g3x since CS professionalism is really complicated. =)

I reckon that Lance will move to CS:S in Jorginho's spot. With this move, mibr.g3x will have a good lineup but, not so good as if they still have Lance.

Rio Sinistro will be undefeatable if they pick Lance.
mibr.g3x will be very tough if gAuLeS leaves as bit joins

Nevertheless, very nice that one of the biggest rivals in CS 1.6 are now united under the same flag: mibr.

Now, my country have a very good team representing us at CGS! ;)

first of all its surprised me that mibr changed to css and wanted to sign a cs team! other cs teams just change to css without having a cs team and thats good to keep alive cs 1.6 respect to mibr.
signing g3x means that they have the best cs.1.6 team in brazil and play alone for the big tournament quals or there are any teams that can beat g3x now ? i think not
