Pistol Round Setup



Virtus starts out the round by sending three members to defend the outside bombsite, one connector, and one pushed up inside. Edward watches ladder from on top of train bombsite outside while LeX and sally push up ivy to pre-nade any victims who are on a rush into the allyway. ROMJkE is positioned in connector watching middle, the defenses fastest entry into the outside bombsite ready to pre-flash or nade. Zeus is pushed up inside the inner bombsite on lower ramp waiting to pre-nade to mess up a rush.
The setup is designed to hold an outside rush from middle or ivy.


Gun Round Setup




The gun round begins with one pre-flash connector to middle by Edward. The flash will slow down or maybe even destroy an outside rush. LeX is peeking ivy only looking for a head with a USP (he is saving for an AWP next round). While Edward is peeking mid for the rush, Sally is covering his left pop dog train/ladder for some flankers outside. He is positioned perfectly to fall back quickly to ct spawn. ROMJkE is inner on ramp watching upper back halls ready to call for his teammates quickly.

Zeus is also in the inner bombsite ready to spray down enemies from the back of the site by CT train. Their setup on the first gun round is to wait for a rush and be ready to fall back for help from other teammates.


Anti-Eco Setup

Virtus plays the same setup as the first gun round—very defensive and ready to fallback to nade a head-on rush. They play it very smart, relying on their teammates to back them up for frags.


Gun Round 2 Setup

This is the teams more rush-like advance to surprise their enemies strat. The team starts out the round by three pre-nades on middle followed by some flashes from Edward,Sally, and ROMjKE while Zeus pushes up the lower ramp inside for a quick pick or a rush. LeX is outside peeking ivy with an AWP ready for a pick. Sally and ROMJkE pre-flash for Edward to make his way onto bombsite train to camp below the ladder. Zeus is pushed up inside, peeking for a frag while ROMJkE waits below watching lower ramp for Zeus to fall back into the site. He is basically using Zeus for bait. LeX bounces around from peeking ivy to sitting on a train's ledge with an AWP. Sally is tucked in by electric box outside watching middle where he eventually peeks into it. The team is hoping to catch the defense by surprise and get quick picks.





Default Gun Round 1 Setup

The spots that the players watch are basically the same but there are variations of advances by Edward and Zeus. Edward will usually play aggressively middle to get quick entry kills on the enemies. Zeus usually likes to push up lower ramp inside and pre-nade to either push or fall back under a train to watch lower. Sally is also pushed up between outside ladder and ivy where he will either help Edward middle or LeX who’s watching ivy. ROMjKE is on top of middle train inside with an AWP watching upper inside for a peek, just waiting to pick one off before he falls back.





Default Gun Round 2 Setup

The same concept as the first default round is in order except Edward pushes up on top on the sniping deck outside. In most of their gun rounds it's the same thing except Edward pushes into a different spot. Edward kills a lot of his entry enemies by the element of surprise; by the time they know he’s there, they are already spectating. Zeus pushes up inside and pre-nades and flashes. He does this because ROMJkE is watching middle from connector making sure Edward can push into the spots he desires.

Sally watches ivy with an M4 ready to fall back and hold off his enemies with nades. LeX is covering Edward left from bombsite train making sure he doesn't get flanked as he’s going up top.

Virtus basically plays the same spots except for Edward who pushes in most rounds. His teammates seem to adjust to him with pre-flashes and peeks to secure his arrival to a spot.





Eco Round Setup




The round starts by the players who have a higher income of money (LeX and Edward)—they buy deagles instead of keeping their USPs. Edward pushes connector for a pick then eventually will jump onto pop dog train, looking for a quick push by terrorists coming down ladder. LeX also goes middle but camps next to the train closest to the defenses entry of outside bombsite waiting for one to go radio box. Sally and ROMJkE push down ivy to surprise any victims not paying attention or looking for a random push. Zeus does his normal thing and nades upper then waits on the bottom for an entry.

Virtus's eco round is based on having a couple of guys push a terrorist entry to get some surprise kills.
