The glory starts now. Top CS 1.6 competitors from around the globe are vying for fame here in Los Angeles as they compete for a spot at the Extreme Masters Finals in March. The best two non-European teams will advance with a chance at totaling out for over $285,000 in cash and prizes at the conclusion of the season.

With a 12 team group play format followed by a double elimination bracket to those that advance, only the best will survive in these classic matchups. Weaknesses will be exposed as strengths implode the right of winning on those who suffer from mere defeat.

The day will begin bright and early on the west coast with groups A and B getting underway at 11:30am PST. Once those matches have been completed groups C and D will begin their matches at 3:30pm PST. When all matches have finished, the top two teams from each group will advance into the double elimination bracket which is set to take place Saturday through Sunday.
