Counter-Strike: CMAX.gg seals kookas deal

By: Luis Mira - Published November 27, 2007 at 11:16 AM EST - Writer Archive
CMAX.gg has completed the signing of Konsta "kookas" Kaisla.
The Finnish talent has been playing for CMAX.gg since the team decided to part company with Janne "Kuppi" Kuparinen because of the squad's recent lack of motivation.

Kaisla played a major role in CMAX.gg's first place at ASUS Autumn 2007, where the team defeated Virtus.pro twice in the Grand Final to grab the gold.

CMAX.gg player Slaava "Twista" Rasanen believes that Kaisla's perfomance in Russia led to this move and stated that the new signing has the potential to become a quality asset to the squad.

"We took Kookas for a few weeks to start with and gave him a chance to prove his skills at the ASUS-tournament, his first foreign event," Rasanen told fragbite.com.

"There he showed us that he has got what it takes to play on our level. He is a well motivated player and will become an excellent gamer."

Kaisla should have his official debut for CMAX.gg next Monday, December 3rd, against x6tence e-Sports club, for Extreme Masters II.

CMAX.gg has now the following roster:

Finland Antti "Shiri" Makinen
Finland Matti "SpikeOne" Jarvinen
Finland Slaava "Twista" Rasanen
Finland Tino "tihOp" Puumala
Finland Konsta "kookas" Kaisla
