Counter-Strike: Gravitas brings in spx

By: Luis Mira - Published November 29, 2007 at 12:27 PM EST - Writer Archive
Gravitas Gaming has added Mike "spx" Luetzhoeft to the Counter-Strike squad.
The Danish player impressed at Spirit of Amiga after a long period away from Denmark's top-flight, but an offer from a squad composed by old team-mates of his was more than enough for him to switch teams.

Luetzhoeft has now been given another chance to play with some of the old members from teams like The Titans or SK Denmark.

He will now step into the void vacated by the departure of Thomas "MoRf4r" Holm from the starting-five. Holm is expected to become inactive but will remain in Gravitas as the squad's backup player.

"After Morf4R stepped down we did not really need much time to decide which player we wanted to replace him," Andreas "KK" Andreassen told the team's website.

"Spx is an awesome player and a close friend to the team. He has proven time and time again that he is one of the greatest players out there and I personally believe that he will be a breath of fresh air to the team."

This move leaves Gravitas Gaming with the following line-up:

Denmark Andreas "KK" Andreassen
Denmark Jonas "whiMp" Svendsen
Denmark Martin "zone" Eilertsen
Denmark Christian "Paddy" Juhl
Denmark Mike "spx" Luetzhoeft

Denmark Thomas "MoRf4r" Holm (inactive)
Denmark Christian "XciteD" Mortensen (inactive)
