Number one and number two according to GotFrag.com World Rankings meet each other for Extreme Masters season II. PGS will be desperately needing a win after a disappointing start to its Extreme Masters campaign. The Polish side lost to Virtus.pro in the opening round and another loss will come as a major worry for Filip "NEo" Kubski's men. The last months have brought nothing but disappointment for the Polish side, who comes from three winless events and was recently seen suffering its first defeat to a local team in almost three years. Although fnatic seems set to continue its defense of the top spot, the Swedish men won't find qualification giftwrapped for them. Fnatic looked in slugglish form against Spirit of Amiga last week on de_inferno, but a top-notch display in the second and third maps allowed it to come back from a 1-0 deficit. More than a game for the three points, this will be a match between two sides that share a long rivalry and will play for pride. "Pentagram is a great team, and we are pretty good friends with them and we get along pretty well with each other," said fnatic team manager Roy "tuxie" Van den Hove. "According to most of the current world rankings, this game is a clash between 2 top3 teams in the world, if not #1 and #2, with such a match-up the viewers can expect a great game, especially considering the fact that it's a best-of-three one. "We haven't done any special preparation for this match, we took November as some sort of Holiday month, we started playing again at dreamhack, since then we just play our regular games each night, and Tuesday it involves an ESL match vs PGS."
