It has been a while since the last decent 1.6 event on United States soil. Here to provide a respite from the Counter-Strike void we currently inhabit is the X3O Winter Event.

Teams attending include a handful of names that instantly bring a high level of credibility as to the field of competition. With eMg, Darkside, Priori, and Team X3O attending, this should be an interesting event.

The tournament itself is structured so that from an initial group stage, two teams will progress from each of four groups into a double elimination bracket. Matches will take place over Saturday and Sunday with select matches having scorebots and possible HLTV. More on that as soon as they are confirmed.
