Dallas, TX - X3O will start the day off at the CPL Winter 2007 Counter Strike 1.6 Championship in Dallas, Texas today hoping for a first win for the organization. The start of the tournament was delayed for one day due to low player/team turnout on day 1. eMazing Gaming and Roccat are a no-show at the event and will make matters easier for the new X3O team.

I rather see CPL die than hold this tournament. I'd be much happier hearing they closed their doors then hold constant pos tournaments. This is just embarassing...to think gaming peaked in 2003 and has went downhill like a steampowered snowball since... =/

its good to see that most of the teams actually followed the boycott that the g7 made and made for good reason. I wish zero teams showed up even if you're a texas CS team. Woulda have shown even more unity in the 1.6 community that could carry over to show CGS that we're a united community, etc

most teams boycotting this is a decent message though. Its a start.

Gotfrag needs to stepup and like strike a redline thru everyone we know is not at this event CPL is trying to make the event look bigger than it is.

Theres a total of like 6 teams for 1.6 there and 7 for Source....were seeing 16 but its a lie...a rouse to make people watch a pathetic attempt at an event.
