Counter-Strike: pod.hama signs beist

Pod.hama has bolstered its squad by signing Linus "beist" Gubenis.
The German player returns to pod.hama after a one-year spell at ZYKON, during which his side finished in 5-6th place at GameGune but failed to impress in domestic EPS play.

Gubenis has now been handed once again a place in the pod.hama starting-five, a move that comes as a consequence of the departure of two players, Dennis "rez0r" Bethke and Kim "vio" Schümann, who, according to the official press release, have agreed terms with mTw.

He expressed his delight at the move and is confident pod.hama will soon return to the German top-flight after missing the EPS Finals this season.

"I'm very happy to be playing for pod again this year, because this team makes me really happy," he told the team's official website. "I have known all the players for a long time and together, we can expect a successful future."

Gubenis' signing leaves pod.hama with the following roster:

Germany Frans "fRaNs" von der Aue
Germany Benjamin "MuKuH" Barth
Germany Tobias "Notorious" Torka
Germany Johan "rappy" von der Aue
Germany Linus "beist" Gubenis
