Counter-Strike: ESL highest prize league

ESL cites the gotfrag.com 2007 money list.
Citing comparisons between leagues and events on 2007's money lists, ESL reports on its success in the previous year.
ESL.eu - Worldwide among all eSports leagues the Electronic Sports League is the most generous distributor of prize money to the best Counter-Strike and Warcraft 3 players. In the ESL Pro Series or internationally in the Intel Extreme Masters or WC3L, nowhere else can participants earn so much money by playing CS or WC3.
The American eSport website GotFrag has put together a list of prize money won in all tournaments in the past year for Counter-Strike and Warcraft 3. The Electronic Sports League leads this list with a total of more than 550,000 US-Dollars (about 380.000 Euros). Altogether the Electronic Sports League arranged tournaments with an overall prize money of more than 1.250.000 US-Dollars. Additionally you could win a BMW M6 at the Intel Racing Tour amounting to more than 176.000 US-Dollars.
