Counter-Strike: threat joins Playzone

By: Luis Mira - Published January 31, 2008 at 6:41 PM EST - Writer Archive
Playzone has added QPAD Sweden runner-up Bjorn "threat" Pers to the Counter-Strike team.
The Swedish team has been on the lookout for a reinforcement since the departure of Frank "frankdude" Sjöström from the team earlier this month.

The former EYEballers member has now joined the ranks of Playzone, but should not have his official debut for the team in the last Extreme Masters Playday.

Pers expressed his delight at the move, saying: "I had already watched them play before and I knew they were good, I had a really tight match against them at Spixelania.

"I played some games for them and they are really nice guys so I could not turn down the offer."

This move leaves Playzone with the following line-up:

Sweden Markus "Stranger" Forsström
Sweden Finn "qp" Sjöström
Sweden Daniel "danne" Öhrlund
Sweden Frej "kHRYSTAL" Sjöström
Sweden Bjorn "threat" Pers
