compLexity's Ron "Rambo" Kim releases "ebook" on the art of Counterstrike.
Dallas, TX -- January 31, 2007 – compLexity's Ron "Rambo" Kim in collaboration with Ognian "steel" Gueorguiev and Duncan "Thorin" Shields has produced and released a comprehensive guide to Counter-Strike. TAO-CS, or The Art Of Counter-Strike to give it its full name, comes as an ebook with over 200 pages of content and over 50 minutes of video footage. The guide's content covers all aspects of competitive Counter-Strike 1.6 and does so in a fashion which makes it appropriate for helping all levels of CS players, from beginner to intermediate to veteran to professional. Videos include footage culled from unreleased POV demos, big money matches from both player's careers and are accompanied by voice-over narration explaining and elucidating the lessons contained within each sequence.

Ron "Rambo" Kim rose to international fame as a member of X3 taking 2nd at CPL Winter 2001 and battling NiP in arguably CS' greatest final. From there he founded Team3D who went on to become the first salaried North American CS team in history. Winning CPL Winter 2002, placing 3rd at CPL Summer 2003 and winning gold medals at the 2004 and 2005 WCGs the team set themselves apart as one of the world's premiere teams and at the forefront of North American CS. The latter part of his time in Team3D saw him placing 4th at ESWC 2006 and 2nd at the WSVG finals in NY. From being named MVP of CPL Winter 2002 to winning everything in Source in 2007 with his new team, coL, Rambo has remained one of North America's elite players from the early betas to now.

Co-collaborator Ognian "steel" Gueorguiev shot to fame when his team, LnD, emerged out of nowhere to win the gold medal at the 2001 WCG in Korea. From there he helped method and co in GX to overturn some epic games against mTw and Spacebar to place 7th at CPL Summer 2002. Having attracted the attention of 3D he joined up with the Americans and promptly won CPL Winter 2002 making him the first Counter-Strike player to capture both WCG and CPL titles. Showcasing a more conversative style of play his disciplined colt bursting won him fans the world over.

To get a taste of what TAO-CS is all about interested observers can view the guide's index, watch a trailer showcasing it (produced by Militia and ClanWars director Daniel "tfg" Frome) and read quotes from some of Counter-Strike's big name players (fRoD, ksharp, method, gore, Hanes, lurppis, bl00dsh0t, bit and more) giving their opinions on this valuable learning resource.
