ESBR understands Counter-Strike to have been banned from Campus Party 2008. The Brazilian Justice has released a judicial order in which it forbids the Campus Party Brasil organization from having any Counter-Strike competition. It is still unknown how this will affect the Brazilian national qualifiers for 2008. According to the ESWC official website, a national partner for this country has not been found yet. So...why is it banned again?
Why are you blaming Uncle Sam? Notice CS isn't banned in the US. And don't generalize school shootings with just us. There was an incident in Europe a few months back as well. Not to mention all the crazy MMORPG-related deaths/murders in Asia.
So, in conclusion. Shut up.
because of some nutbags that been playing real life RPG killing each other. I don't think gamers making a living out of gaming should be punished for somem psychotic people act.
Well, what can we brazilians do huh. The country is democracy, but yet banned things happen, for the good of the young i would believe. We got bad problems with guns in CERTAIN parts already.
And by then, it's too late.
I feel bad for Brazil...
