Counter-Strike: Two in, two out for Islanders

Islanders has completed the signing of Aleksey "KiO" Lagutin.
The Russian player arrives at Islanders after previous spells in teams like Seven.pro, x4team and Snatch.

Islanders captain Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov is delighted to have guaranteed the services of Lagutin and believes that the new addition will play a crucial role in the team.

"KiO played in teams such as Seven.pro and x4team in the past, he is very talented and an extremely-motivated player," Bogdanov told GotFrag.com.

Islanders has also confirmed the return of Aleksandr "KALbI4" Gribov to the team, a move which marks his return to activity after a three-month period away from the stages.

Meanwhile, both Edward "edik" Ivanov and Demiyan "blade" Zemskiy have left the ranks of Islanders. While Ivanov has already found a new team in Sprayed, Zemskiy is expected to become inactive.

The new Islanders team should have its official debut at ASUS Winter 2008, which is set to take place from 23rd-24th in Moscow.
