Counter-Strike: ID Gaming presents CS team

By: Luis Mira - Published February 06, 2008 at 2:04 PM EST - Writer Archive
ID Gaming has officially confirmed its return with a new Counter-Strike: 1.6 team.
The German organisation announced its disbandement in the middle of the EPS season because of serious financial problems.

ID Gaming has now returned to full activity under a new management, and has secured the services of the Norwegian team known as unsterblich.

Unsterblich had been forced to seek a new organisation after parting ways with Fainted, with team captain Thomas "Azid" Heltne hoping that this move will allow his squad to scale greater heights.

"After leaving Faited, we got some offeres from different organisations, we chose ID Gaming because they can offer us a lot of things, we were very satisfied with this offer."

The new ID Gaming team has decided to show Øyvind "KF3" Magnestad the exit door as the former Ninjas in Pyjamas talent failed to make an impact.

"We didn't feel the chemistry between us and Øyvind, which made us have some line-up changes before moving to ID Gaming."

To fill in the last spot, ID Gaming opened talks with Thomas "KRAPYL" Ovesen, a former member of Expert Gaming, whom Heltne expects to be a quality asset.

"He played for teams like Expert-Gaming and Highscore, those teams may not be known to the international scene but they are well-known teams in Norway."

This leaves ID Gaming with the following line-up:

Norway Thomas "Azid" Heltne
Norway Kristoffer "PAH" Røgeberg
Norway Tommy "tacky" Mosgaard
Norway Tormod "torri" Hetland
Norway Thomas "KRAPYL" Ovesen
