Counter-Strike: Excello raids CMAX.gg

By: Luis Mira - Published February 07, 2008 at 5:29 PM EST - Writer Archive
Portuguese organisation Excello has confirmed the signing of the CMAX.gg line-up.
The Finnish team has been on the lookout for a new organisation since it decided to part ways with CMAX.gg because of the lack of support from the management.

This move strengthens Excello's place in the Counter-Strike scene after having signed the former exotic Portuguese squad.

Team member Slaava "Twista" Rasanen has praised the new organisation, hoping that this deal will allow the team to improve.

"We are proud to announce that, from this day forward, we will be known as Excello," Rasanen told GotFrag.com.

"We are more than happy to get this chance and we will do our best to succeed under this name, we will now be able to travel to different events."

The Finnish team has qualified for Extreme Masters Finals after defeating ALTERNATE aTTaX with a score of 2-1, with Rasanen stating that the team has set its hopes high for the ESL event.

"We are very confident that we can rach the top 3 but of course we aim for the first place just like everyone else, but only time will tell what is going to happen."

Excello has now the following line-up:

Finland Antti "Shiri" Makinen
Finland Matti "SpikeOne" Jarvinen
Finland Slaava "Twista" Rasanen
Finland Tino "tihOp" Puumala
Finland Konsta "kookas" Kaisla
