Counter-Strike: wooSai disbands

By: Luis Mira - Published February 13, 2008 at 2:05 PM EST - Writer Archive
WooSai has confirmed the disbandment of the Counter-Strike team.
The Danish team joined the ranks of wooSai in mid-November and during its four-month spell at the organisation, it was seen finishing in third place in its group at Extreme Masters.

According to Magnus "pzyclone" Hansen, a Danish organisation engaged in talks with both Alexander "telli" Lundkvist and Rasmus "FaagaN" Møller, an offer which made the two players leave wooSai to switch teams.

This move eventually led to the disbandment of the wooSai squad as the remaining players did not wish to start a new line-up.

"Telli and FaagaN told me a few hours ago that they got an offer and that they decided to join this team," Hansen told GotFrag.com.

"I guess we are all tired of making a new team all the time, just to see it split up a few months later, people keep jumping around to try new things, but it always ends as today."

The wooSai Counter-Strike team was the following:

Denmark Magnus "pzyclone" Hansen
Denmark Rasmus "FaagaN" Møller
Denmark Rasmus "vimo" Vibe
Denmark Martin "woodi" Holm
Denmark Alexander "telli" Lundkvist
