The team formally known as Backfire. Having had two straight seasons of similar placings, this needs to be the season where they draw the line and break out of finishing middle of the back. Granted they have made the playoffs in both, but failing to make it past the first round is not generally accepted as the definition of success.

Compounding this problem - or perhaps improving upon it - are the recent additions of Nick "spectro" Olea, and Kris "kris" Romillo. The revamped roster looks good on paper, but with a large chunk of the core lineup out of commission this could very well be the season where Dynamo puts themselves in a position to lose their spot within the elite level of North American CS. On the other hand, the switch may be just what they need to break from the "slightly higher than mediocre" status they have acquired.

Strengths: Having spectro join a lineup with names like Mike "nett1k" O'Brien and Alborz "deathreat" Kakouee brings a completely new dynamic to the table, he will be an asset to this team.

Weaknesses: Retaining just two players from your core starting five doesn't usually end with success.

Recent Results: CEVO-Pro Season 6: 5th/6th, CEVO Pro Season 7: 6th

Prediction: Hard to say at this point, from the looks of things they will either be greatly improved or gravely flawed.

To say that this team is relatively unknown to the majority of the community would be an understatement. That's not implying anything negative towards them, however its a testament to the way they climbed the ranks over the course of about a year and a half to finally earn a spot in CEVO-Pro.

Their placement tournament berth was awarded following a 3rd place finish in CEVO-Main, the third season of main for them. According to members, the team would often fizzle out towards the end of a long season and forfeit matches and along with that, a shot at Pro.

As Dan Mehler put in in the upcoming prediction article in regards to iniquity's match, "according to the rumor mill, iniquity IS the internet". That kind of reputation isn't necessarily a bad one heading into an online league though. Keep in mind however, the team recently had a major roster change with the pickup of Jon "broodex" Gibbons who had joined Nightmare Online a week before. His addition to the four members who have been on the team since its inception completes the starting five. Time will tell how they hold up against the big names.

Strengths: Flying under the radar as well as this team has will give them a certain advantage against teams that have little to no idea what to expect from the newcomers. At the very worst, iniquity's opponents could underestimate them and fall into a lull of confidence where the level of performance suffers.

Weakness: Lack of expierience at a high level. Part of the reason the higher-tier teams know nothing about iniquity is because they haven't had the chance to ever play a match against, or in some cases even scrim them. This is a double edged sword, will iniquity be prepared to take on the likes of a eMg or x3o come match day?

Recent Results: 3rd Place, CEVO-Main 1.6 Season 7

Predictions: This one could honestly be anywhere in the spectrum of possibility, especially considering the roster shakeups elsewhere across the league. Best bet would be in the lower end of the pack.
