The American organisation announced yesterday that it would be parting ways with the Danish Counter-Strike: 1.6 squad, following a lack of good results from the former theclan line-up.

From the old roster, only Andreas "KK" Andreassen remains in Gravitas Gaming, having been the one that showed "the best vision for a new squad", according to Gravitas president Corbin "cbnz" Crnkovic.

Alexander "telli" Lundkvist and Rasmus "FaagaN" M�ller have arrived at Gravitas Gaming after having departed from wooSai on Wednesday.

Gravitas Gaming has also lined up a deal for Ideal Gaming's veterans Bardi "bardi" Haraldsson and Nicolaj "Nuggi" Larsen.

Crnkovic said: "When it came time to decide on who to add Andreas had a pretty good idea of who he wanted to surround himself with."

"When he mentioned each player we had no objections as many of the players he mentioned were ones we had kept an eye on for a long time."

The new Gravitas Gaming line-up should make its official debut at KODE5 Greece, which will take place from March 8-9th at BattleGround Gaming Stations in Athens.

whimp is not going to play CS anymore. Vimo could haven been an option, but I think KK knows what he is doing. If you've seen Danish CS over that past year, you'll know that telli, bardi and especially Faagan and Nuggi have been outstanding. I think this team has a lot of potential, so let's hope the results will match.

Can't really say anyone thought this would be the lineup but I after nexiz got banned from ESL play I was wondering what Ideal Gaming was going to do. Most people took a look at the names and thought the same basic kind of lineup(whimp, kk, zone, faggan, telli) but it ended up being nothing like that.

Real question is now what will whimp, spx, karrigan, xone, pzyclone, vimo, woodi, zone, and Paddy do :-\

Old Gravitas was the definition of unfulfilled potential, they had a lineup that could easily make top10 in the world and they would loose matches to random teams that don't ever show up at LANs because of lack of funding.
Good move on their part, telli has been beasting euro online leagues since they played in Gamehotel, FaagaN is proven, bardi is another upcoming player, and KK is the experience of the team and a great awper. The only one I don't know is Nuggi, never seen him play but if they've chosen him I expect him to be one of those kids with crazy aim.

The problem with the old gravitas was probably motivation, they where together for a long time so they definitly had chemistry, they where all proven players from the Titans/SK.dk days, but for some reason they consistently underperformed, I think these new guys will really make the best of Gravitas financial support and their motivation to win will be much greater.

#30 best danish roster is NoA/mTw.dk, there's no questioning it really.

KK didn't stab anyone in the back. Their line up wasn't producing and management asked for a change so don't play him off as the bad guy. There really is no bad guy in this situation because fact remains the line up they had wasn't producing so a change needed to be made. They have been sporting that line up since ATR and have never changed it outside of adding Mike due to the fact they all are good friends. If they couldn't get it right by now a change was needed in the line up.

whiMp got a better salary offer from another top team so that is why he left. You will hear about who he is going to soon enough.

This roster has way more potential than the roster they had, which wasn't accomplishing any goals that the Gravitas management had set for them. For anyone questioning nuggi go back and watch the BIT 5 demos on hltv.org of ideal and you will find he can top frag with the best of them. I wouldn't jump to any conclusions till you see the roster perform, but I can already say motivation wise this roster has way more going for them than the old Gravitas and they will perform better than the old Gravitas.

telli + faagan both crazy aimers.. good pick up imo.. not sure about other 2..

everybody here just thinks that old Gravitas was such a good team , but they wasn't.
this new lineup of Gravitas got potential to success big time on the .dk scene , and they might be a strong opponent to the other good teams on europe.
if KK made this choice to pick them , so i believe that he knows a little bit more than us what he is doing.

#7 if you knew just a bit about the scene, u would know that GG (the core players) had been playing together for like 2 years.. So they DID try to stick together, more than most other teams. They eventually tried picking up spx to change things for this last bad period, but i did not help.

The guys GG now picked up are all very skilled, and most important talented. If KK can make this team click, he has got himself something very special here, no doubt about that.

And for people asking about vimo, i don't think u will see him around too much anymore, he's still an amazing soccerplayer ^^

#35 - Nuggi is a very calm and unbeliveable stable player. Used to be the strat caller of Ideal Gaming (danish top team on level with SoA, woosai etc.) - he's playing with the awp mostly, but can, as most others, also use rifles. He, of all, deserves this chance :)

Finally some smart people who are Danish chime in!! :D
