SEC 2008 will take place from March 6th-9th at the famous computer expo CeBIT, and will gather more than 250 gamers from 30 different european nations that will play for a total prize purse of $100,000 USD.

Because of the late announcement from the WCG staff, several European countries decided to secure a spot in the tournament by inviting their representatives.

Last year's winner, SK Gaming, won't have a chance to defend its title as fnatic has been chosen as the official representative for Sweden.

The 2007 runner-up, Pentagram G-Shock, now Meet Your Makers, has been confirmed for this tournament despite not having completed the line-up in the WCG website yet.
