ALTERNATE aTTaX, or just Alternate as they are now known as, enter the NGL ONE 2007/08 LAN finals as the top seed after finishing the regular season with a 8-1-0 record. They will open up the double elimination LAN event against fellow German team, Mousesports who came fourth overall with a 5-3-1 record. Fnatic looks to defend their title as NGL ONE Champions with the second seed thanks to a 6-3-0 season. They will be taking on the Finnish team Roccat who, like mouz, had a record of 5-3-1.

The tournament offers up $35,000 in cash prizes with $20,000 alone going to the winning team. The runners up will get $10,000 and the third place team will receive $5,000. This will be the last season that the NGL ONE organization will be running a Counter-Strike event so the four teams will definitely want to be known as the final champion.
