By: Nick Bee - Published February 20, 2008 at 8:31 PM EST - Writer Archive
The second installment of the critically acclaimed and world renowned GotFrag Predictions for CEVO-Pro 1.6!

Welcome to the second week of GotFrag Predictions for CEVO-Pro 1.6 Season 8. Our predictions come via Midway, Jesuit, Singlecoil, and Alchemist who is standing in for SirScoots while he is out of the office.

This is a weekly feature and will be released before the starting day of matches each week for the entire CEVO regular and post season.

Filling in the special guest slot for out predictions we have Dan "calzone" Cocchiara. Cocchiara is a member of Nightmare Online and all around self-proclaimed Counter-Strike expert of everything.

The second week of CEVO-Pro features de_train. The ten teams will play in the standard two match a week format.

Note: Week 2:1 Cyberglobe vs. Darkside and Mug N' Mouse vs. Dynamo were played before the competition week actually began and thus will not have predictions for them.

Iniquity vs. Nightmare Online

Both teams had close matches last week with Iniquity winning 16-14 both times and Nightmare Online losing by four or less points.

nMo couldn't make KotH, and iniquity is 2-0. I'm taking iniquity on this one, watch out for Icey.
Playing WoW for long periods of time online gives me nightmares, kinda like nMo's season so far.
iniquity proved to me that they are more than just readers last week. I say they got this.
Two tough losses for NO getting outscore 25-32.  I got a feeling another 16-12 loss is in the cards.
Iniquity is the internet and we are having roster problems.  Iniquity wins.

X3O vs. eMg

The title match of the week. The #1 team in North America eMg takes on the #2 ranked x3o in a matchup that we could see in the playoff grand finals.

The show down everyone has been waiting for ... I'm taking x3o for the "upset" here.
Hostile gonna throw a monkey wrench into eMg's gears here.
Train can be a tricky map but I think with azn on their side eMg’s style of play will take this map.
Amazing early match with lots of potential to set precedent for the rest of the season, x3o is looked in slight better form to start the season, I'll take them.
This is a preview of the finals for sure.  It will be close, but mehLer's AWP will lead x3o to victory.

Revoltados eSports vs. Frag Dominant

The new Revoltados looks good on paper, but will they be able to take down FragD?

ReV isnt very good. FD is pretty good, a least thats what the forums say.

Revoltados take another loss here and remain in last place.
FD will use their newly added TF2 squad to teach them how to rocket jump over the trains and win this.

Frag walks away with a good win and looks to be an early riser in "the new" 1.6.
I don't see rev putting up a fight in this one.  FD.SLP for the win.
