Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed will be replaced by Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund on SK's starting lineup.
One of the most talented and successful players to grace the game of Counter-Strike has decided to step down from competitive gaming. Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed will be replaced by Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund on the 1.6 lineup.

Mohamed will still be part of the SK organization, but he will fulfill a different role. He will become an representative of the e-sport and help promote SK Gaming at various events. Alesund, his replacement, is one of the up and coming stars in the Swedish Counter-Strike scene. He has played for several international level teams like Begrip, NiP, and MYM.

Mohamed made a splash in Matrix, 2easy, and HLO. He then joined SK Gaming in 2003, becoming teammates with ahl, potti, HeatoN, elemeNt, and fisker. After his arrival, the lineup pulled off their amazing string of 1st place finishes throughout the entire year.

Alesund joined SK Gaming in September of last year, and was their 6th man up until now. He even played against his own team once, when he rang for MYM the following month. This ended in controversy, and he was pulled from the MYM roster. Since then he has only played for SK, and waited for this chance to step up and become a part of the starting lineup.

Andreas "bds" Thorstensson, on SK's website, had this to say about the two players, "Christopher has been on everyone's watch list for some time now, just like Abdi in the beginning. He has the same will, dedication, enthusiasm and last, but not least, the skill to become one of the best players in the world. I am certain he will mature and shine in SK together with the highly skilled and experienced players in the team. I am very happy to welcome him to the team!"

The new SK roster will be:

Sweden Jimmy "allen" Allen
Sweden Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström
Sweden Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund
Sweden Dennis "walle" Wallenberg
Sweden Christopher "GeT_RiGhT" Alesund

Sweden Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed (inactive)
