Begrip Gaming has confirmed the departure of the Russian Counter-Strike team.
The Russian squad was one of the sides on show at ASUS Winter 2008, having finished in third place to take back home $2,450 USD.

According to Ivan "Xenitron" Totsky, his squad was approached by a local organisation called EYESPORTS with an offer that made the players part ways with Begrip Gaming two years after joining it.

"EYESPORTS offered us a better financial support, and its management is located in our country, so it will be a lot easier to contact them," Totsky told GotFrag.com.

"Now we have a lot more motivation to improve our team skills.

"We played in Begrip for two years and that was a great time, we won many main events in Russia last year but we have to move forward, that's why we have joined EYESPORTS."

The former Begrip Gaming squad is in line to make its official debut for EYESPORTS at the DTS Cup in Ukraine with the following roster:

Russia Ivan "Xenitron" Totsky
Russia Dmitrii "ex" Pestin
Russia Aleksey "Flatra" Zlobich
Russia Alexander "xek" Zobkov
Russia Vladimir "redman" Tarasov
