It's 1.6?? HOLY YES.
BOUT. DAMN. TIME.
Now if only those CGS teams would be allowed to compete. =/
Great job guys and thanks a lot. Hope to see some great matches.
Reviving 1.6 tournaments will revive eSports in America. I wonder what inspired you guys to give you the tenacity of taking on this uphill battle. My only wish is that they can muster enough sponsors for a sufficient Grand Finals prize because in all actuality, money is what will drive these tournaments.
Good luck, GotFrag. It's all up to you.
Hopefully it will be as good a tournament as those great one's back in the day (ESWC, WCG, ESL). I wonder whatever happened to those either?
Why not do it up and do 1.3 revival tour. That I could get behind!
I pushed for 5.2, but they denied me as they fear the mp5 of dewm.
also lol SirScoots
congratulations, good luck, and a thank you to gotfrag would be in order methinks =]
(can people from outside US participate, even if they pings are... not very gamerail...)
Thanks got frag >:3
***EDIT***
I just realized thats an asian wearing a preacher outfit, I have no effing clue what the hell thats supposed to represent.
jesuit did the photoshopping, and i have no idea how i let them convince me to do it, but it's all in good fun. this is, in large part, a thank you to the community for years of support and in a larger part, a tournament series we've wanted to do on 1.6 in forever. MLG's backing makes this possible, and more to the point, the 1.6 community needs a place to get it stuck in again.
Someone pass the popcorn, I'll be in the new GotFrag TV studio when we shoot this thing.
Hopefully those final spots can get goto some quality talent
say "revival" and i hoped 3d and col were playing this tournament.
But itll be great anyways
regardless of the details, sounds like a good plan. i hope it all works out :x
