GotFrag announces its picks for the first GotFrag Revival Tour tournament.

USA - GotFrag is proud to announce our secondary picks for the first GotFrag Revival Tour tournament. These seven teams were chosen from open registration and will be added to the original invite list and will be seeded in the 16 team, double elimination tournament.

The GotFrag Revival Tour is an online tournament series dedicated entirely to bringing live Counter-Strike 1.6 action directly to the desktops of fans by way of GotFrag eSports comprehensive coverage and live streaming video courtesy of GotFrag TV.

To fill out the 16 team bracket, one spot remains open and will be chosen by GotFrag readers in a poll soon to be released. Three alternate teams will also be selected from the poll. Those teams will be on stand-by for this tournament in case of a team drop. The alternates will be given an auto-berth invite to the next GotFrag Revival Tour tournament.

The first GotFrag Revival Tour tournament takes place April 26th-27th and will host sixteen five player CS 1.6 teams. Dynamo, from the original invite list, has disbanded however their new line-up will be entered in poll, and Guardians have declined the chance to participate. The following seven teams will be added to the participating teams in the first GotFrag Revival Tour tournament bringing the number of teams participating to 15.

United States Stacked Like Pancakes

Zach "sunjo" Ganey
Mike "fluaxoN" Kirkham
Joey "pondfiller" Marotta
Spencer "hiko" Martin
Derek "weym0" Weymouth

With a 7 - 9 record, SLP finished this CEVO Pro season one win shy of .500 and one place away from a playoff spot at 7th. Although they missed out on playoffs this season, they did receive a fourth place finish last season in CEVO-p.

United States Interstate 95

Jacob "flashback" Carter
Vince "fr3aK" DeCarlo
Doug "jacoBson!" Jacobson
Kyle "synikaL" Mendez
Ian "pyrite" Thomas

I95 is entering the CEVO Pro playoffs with the fourth seed after concluding the season with a 9 - 7 record. The team is comprised of some veteran talent from the east coast of the US and although this latest lineup is a new incarnation, the majority of the players have been on the same teams together.

United States Glimpse of Reality

Bryan "buskey" Buskey
Chris "vehemeNs" Kim
Hyunggun "Zola" Kim
Trevor "p0s" Randolph
Gino "gwhatkey" Wuttke

GR is back with many of their past players. Currently they are in 13th place in CEVO main with a 9 - 7 record. Don't be fooled by this though, as their most recent results do not speak to their true potential.

United States team to beat

David "lawjeek" Cook
Mark "scoutz" Herrero
Mike "fr00z" Kamfiroozie
Steven "HiZzMO" Mckenney
Travis "Revenge" Osbourne

A relatively unknown team, ttb is ranked third in CEVO main with a 12 - 4 record. With wins over teams like GB, Guardians, 34 and GR this season, they have shown the ability to hang with the best in that league.

United States interPlay.zoi

Liridon "quas" Ademaj
Chris "projeckt" Costoso
Keith "keefsTar" Kim
Kevin "AllStrZ" Merslich
Arber "bxk" Ukehaxhaj
Zeus "demos" Wu

Currently in the seventh spot in CEVO main with a 10 - 6 record, iPlay is a upstart team from the local NY scene. Recently, they placed fourth in the x3o Series qualifier.

United States Team34

Jason "thetoy" Brownlee
Blake "nolimit" Burton
Cliff "twizzy" Green
Ryan "thr!ce" Tomlin
Zach "tigerz" Vogel

Sporting an 11 - 5 record, 34 is holding down the 6th spot in CEVO main. They are a former top central team who is just starting to get back into the game.

United States drift

Stephen "diko" Leblanc
Frank "illuzion" Liccardo
Andre "bleek" Manzi
Eric "lbs" Pounds
Santos "HeLLScreaM" Torres

Drift recently came back from the dead ... just in time to take third place at the first x3o qualifier. Other than that, they have been pretty quiet, but they will be looking to back up their LAN results with some big wins here.
