GotFrag - We here at GotFrag are committed to the community we serve and it is with great reservation and thought that we make decisions that affect our community. Our first goal in building a tournament series for our community is to ensure fairness. It has come to our attention that our polling system here at GotFrag is just no longer a viable tool for deciding important matters. The poll was designed for fun and as a popularity vote and just cannot handle the security needed for such an important matter as the selection of teams to our tournaments.

Due to an obvious compromise of the GotFrag poll system, GotFrag has chosen to take matters into hand regarding the remaining team slot and three alternates for the first GotFrag Revival Tour tournament. We have chosen to disregard all poll results and have chosen the teams for these spots internally.

We would like to apologize to the community, fans and players for the circumstances regarding this matter. We believe we have made the best decision, given the time frame, based on your comments and help in resolving the issue with a faulty poll. The decision took into consideration the poll, how the teams involved in the poll handled the situation and how those teams interacted with us. We feel that we have chosen the teams that display the skill, the willingness to work with GotFrag on a daily basis and the professionalism necessary to compete in a tournament series of this caliber. We feel these teams will deliver an exciting tournament for our community.

The GotFrag Revival Tour is an online tournament series dedicated entirely to bringing live Counter-Strike 1.6 action directly to the desktops of fans by way of GotFrag eSports comprehensive coverage and live streaming video courtesy of GotFrag TV. The first GotFrag Revival Tour tournament takes place April 26th-27th and will host sixteen five player CS 1.6 teams.

Prizes

GotFrag will be featuring SteelSeries products for the GotFrag Revival Tour winners. This first event will include the new SteelSeries 7G Keyboard and the new SteelSeries SP hard plastic mousepad.

Grand Prize: $1,000 + 5x SteelSeries 7G Keyboards

Second Place: 5x SteelSeries 7G Keyboards

Third Place: 5x SteelSeries SP Mousepads
