When they entered the tournament, they were the underdog team from a Placement Qualifier. Today they are now seeded #2 in the league awaiting their opponent in Round 2. MoB has come a long way with a couple changes in the roster to fix the kinks. They are sitting in a comfortable position before playoffs as they keep the squeeze on X3O.

Both times MoB Gaming faced X3O in the season, MoB has defeated them. Despite the matches being down to the wire, MoB finds the boost of momentum to finish it off. Although, their recent match vs X3O in the GotFrag Revival Tournament was a devastating loss, 16-3. They were also using a different lineup, which threw them off their game. Before the two can see each other in the finals this time around, one of them will have to face a loss one way or the other.

After the recent addition and departure of Perez, MoB made some last minute moves and picked up Thomas "thoMz" Garcia. Garcia has played on many teams with Alvarado and Catron in the past which should really benefit them with their prior history together. I'd really like to see this team keep the fire lit after their wins over top teams.

Strengths: Keeping up. They have already shown dominance this season with an 11-5 record and two of those wins are against X3O. If they can keep the pressure on X3O, who should be their only problem in playoffs, there's a good shot of them pulling another upset for a third time.

Weaknesses: With the last minute roster additions, they could run into some bumps along the way. Perez was the heavy fragger during the X3O match at the end of the regular season, and now he's not in the starting lineup for the playoffs. The weight from the loss to X3O this past week still hangs on their shoulders as they could easily face them again this weekend.

Prediction: Second. If they come from the lower bracket, I can see them taking x3o to a second map, because they have good determination. The last few times they've faced X3O in finals, they have came up short. Due to their last minute roster change and history against X3O in a finals situation, I think MoB will struggle as they try to break the curse.
