Counter-Strike: emuLate set to miss KODE5

Team-aAa.com understands that French WCG champion emuLate has cancelled its participation in KODE5 Global Finals.

(Moscow, Russia) - The French team had been drawn into Group B and would meet the likes of mousesports or HellRaisers in the opening phase of the KODE5 Global Finals.

However, it is reported that Mickael "mSx" Cassisi did not receive his passport in time for the event, while the other players have not been given the green light to travel to Russia after applying for a visa.

This said, Group B is now one-team short, and it is unknown whether it will stay as it is or KODE5 will announce some changes. Chances are that the tournament organisation will find another last-minute replacement or move a squad from Group D into Group B to make them even.

Sucks. This crap happens too much in CS, especially with players going to Russia or the U.S.

wonder what kode5 will do, move one from group 3 to group b or find a replacement for emulate eg (attax/roccat/forze)

The best solution would be removing emuLate from the seeds and moving each team up and then changing the groups the way they would, simply moving a team from group D to group B doesn't make any sense at all whatsoever.

so each group has 2 of the top8 teams, would remove the gropu of death A, and would make a much better tournie with the possibility of all of the top8 teams getting out of groups (providing they dont cake of course)

The reason i use GF is to achieve 4 nerd stars and look E-cool.

ehm msx was in the usa halve a year ago for wcg and now doesn't get his passport in time? did he just neak over the atlantic? =p

Group B stays as the "group of death" while group C also becomes somewhat of a death trap. It also makes both group A and D interesting. Would definitely make things more fun :D

I Started the FURY craze!

That's not very professional. It has been some years since i've traveled by plane and my passport is always up to date...

He took a special passport for WCG (Juste 6months) and now he has to make a new real passport to go to Russia but he need more time to get it and kode5 is very soon.. That's what Team-aAa said^^
Next international event for emulate will be ESWC (if they win french qualifer!)
