GotFrag.com reported yesterday that the French squad emuLate would not attend this tournament because of problems with the passport of Mickael "mSx" Cassisi and the visa of the remaining players.

In order to make the groups even, KODE5 has decided to move Finnish side Roccat from Group A to Group B, while Damage Control will play in Group A instead of Group D. This means that all Counter-Strike groups have now five teams.
