Saturday May, 17th marks the second installment of the X3O 2008 Championship Series. Earlier this week, the organization released the seedings and corresponding starting groups for the first day of competition.

The matches kick off at 9am EST and continue until Sunday evening. The group stage will take up the first day completely, with each individual group providing two teams a berth into the second day's bracket play.

As detailed here, the winner of this qualifier will receive an auto-berth past the round robin level and into the bracket stage of the final series event in addition to prize money.
