Frag Dominant announced today its acquisition of the Green Berets 1.6 lineup, as well as a new addition to the roster. In a recent press release, Jame's O'Connor, - leader of the new clan - had this to say.

"I missed the strong community following that we've had in the past and admired what Hanzo has built with Frag Dominant"

Citing a longstanding friendship with Hanzo from Frag Dominant, a friendship that stems from Jame's later days with X3O, the two discussed the direction of Green Berets and Frag Dominant, eventually coming to the conclusion that the two were mutually beneficial for each other.

With that realization, the Frag Dominant management chose to pick up Green Berets as the Counter-Strike 1.6 team starting in May 2008.

Along with this announcement comes the news that Trevor "p0s" Randolph will join the team. Randolph was a recent member of the Glimpse of Reality lineup that called it quits.

The press release puts forth the goals of this new partnership as well.

"With this roster Frag Dominant is striving to win both LAN and online events alike and make a big impact in major international events, such as ESWC and WCG. Along with the Counter-Strike 1.6 roster comes the management team that has been with Green Berets previously."

The new Frag Dominant will be competing in the upcoming GotFrag Revival Tour Qualifier #2.
