GameGune has confirmed its return in 2008 with another big-money tournament.
The 2008 GameGune tournament will once again be held at the Euskal Encounter, whose 16th edition will take place from July 24th-26th at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Bilbao, the largest city in the Basque Country.

GameGune will have a total prize purse of €22,500, the same figure of last year's tournament.

According to the organisation, the tournament will have a total of 32 teams, and will begin with a group stage, followed by a double-elimination phase, with the the tournament's maps being de_nuke, de_dust2, de_inferno and de_train.

However, with e-Stars Seoul 2008 taking place during the exact same days, it is understood that emuLate, fnatic and Meet Your Makers will be confirmed absentees on this event.

The prize distribution for the tournament is as follows:

1. 12,000€
2. 6,000€
3. 3,000€
4. 1,500€

Stay tuned to GotFrag.com as we will bring you all the action from GameGune 2008.
