Counter-Strike: zet to SK Gaming: a done deal?

By: Luis Mira - Published June 15, 2008 at 10:22 AM EDT - Writer Archive
Fragbite.com understands that former Ninjas in Pyjamas star Marcus “zet” Sundstrom is very close to joining SK Gaming.
The Swedish ace is on the lookout for a new team following his dismissal from the Complexity CGS roster almost 18 months after joining it.

And Sundstrom, who is interested in returning to 1.6 action, has been linked with a move to SK Gaming.

The Swedish squad recently confirmed the return of Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed to the starting-five but the management is allegedly interested in the addition of Sundstrom, who was a vital piece in Ninjas in Pyjamas' scheme.

"Zet contacted us, he wants to play with walle and RobbaN," Anton Budak, coach of SK Gaming, told Fragbite.com. "I want him, I want him in the team."

It is believed that SK Gaming is only interested in adding Sundstrom now as its sixth player as he is not fit for competition yet after a long period away from 1.6 action.

With a very busy summer schedule ahead, SK does not want to risk using an out-of-form Sundstrom, which is why he is expected to gradually move into the starting-five as he returns to his best form.

SK Gaming has not commented on this matter as of yet.

The addition of Sundstrom leaves SK Gaming with the following line-up:

Sweden Jimmy "allen" Allen
Sweden Robert "RobbaN" Dahlström
Sweden Kristoffer "Tentpole" Nordlund
Sweden Dennis "walle" Wallenberg
Sweden Abdisamad "SpawN" Mohamed
Sweden Marcus “zet” Sundstrom
