The GameGune 2008 edition is due to take place from July 25th-27th at the Bilbao Exhibition Centre in Bilbao, the largest city in the Basque Country.

With a total prize purse of €22,500, the organisation hopes to attract an array of top teams from all over the world.

American team x3o is now the first non-European squad to be confirmed by the GameGune organisation. X3o, who qualified for the ESWC Finals in August, will have in Bilbao a good opportunity to train ahead of the tournament in San Jose.

GameGune has also announced the inclusion of n!faculty, who was the big surprise package of the EPS Finals after finishing in a respectable second place.

With twenty-four teams already confirmed at the tournament, only eight remain to be unveiled by the GameGune organisation.
