Counter-Strike: ESWC announces Masters seeds

The Electronic Sports World Cup has confirmed the seeding distribution for Masters draw.
The event will take place from July 4th-6th at the Palais Omnisports of Paris and will feature all the ESWC official games, Counter-Strike: 1.6, Defense of the Ancients, Quake 3 Arena, Trackmania Nations, and Warcraft 3: The Frozen Throne.

The ESWC Masters of Paris will reward the winners with money and a spot in the ESWC 2008 event, to take place in California during the summer.

The ESWC has divided the teams into two seed pools and a non-seed pool. Each Counter-Strike group will have one participant from each seed pool and three from the non-seed pool.

According to the official announcement, a group can't have more than two participants from the same nationality.

The attendees have been seeded according to their results in previous ESWC editions and other major competitions.

The Counter-Strike: 1.6 tournament will kick off with a five-team group phase, with the first two teams qualifying for the single elimination phase.
