The LA compLexity Counter-Strike team has confirmed its return to 1.6 action.
The LA compLexity organization has decided to allow the squad to attend both 1.6 and Source events for the remainder of the year.

However, according to the official press statement, the team will continue focusing on its Counter-Strike: Source career and will thus not practice hard for 1.6 tournaments.

"We are doing this for FUN and have no false illusions of domination in 1.6 after not touching the game for 1.5 years," the team said on its official website.

"Our players love and respect 1.6, and want to play it as often as possible, but our professional careers dictate that we focus more on CS:Source."

The compLexity squad will be participating in the WCG online qualifiers, as well as CEVO in both 1.6 and CS:Source.

"We have no expectations of beating the strong 1.6 teams of 2008, but we'll give it one heck of a compLexity try," the team added.

The compLexity team is the following:

United States Matt “Warden” Dickens
United States Danny “fRoD” Montaner
United States Tyler “Storm” Wood
United States Ronald “Rambo” Kim
United States Corey "kaM" Hanes
