The ESWC Masters group draw began at 15.00 CET and is scheduled to end two hours later, at 17.00 CET.

The Counter-Strike: 1.6 tournament will kick off with a five-team group phase, with the first two teams qualifying for the single elimination phase.

The ESWC has divided the teams into two seed pools and a non-seed pool. Each Counter-Strike group will have one participant from each seed pool and three from the non-seed pool.

According to the official announcement, a group can't have more than two participants from the same nationality.

The attendees have been seeded according to their results in previous ESWC editions and other major competitions.

stupid to announce a draw (date/time) and don't have a broadcast so people can actually follow it live. better just announce the groups and leave the rest for themselves :|

Group A B C are all pretty tough because there are at least 3 good teams and only two spots.

ESWC groups are aways unbalanced.

group 1 and 2 are too strong and have almost all of the top teams on it, i will watch only 1 and 2 cuz i dont care about the rest

this is the first time EG has not been put in the group of death (not to say there group is easy though).
