are all the Europeans as arrogant as this guy? there is obvious truth in his comments about the north american 1.6 scene but i dont think the prestige of the tournament has to suffer. imo they should of kept the grand finals in paris instead of hosting it here and embarrassing us by having a better tournament in paris anyways. the tournament being in america hardly does anything for our 1.6 scene if we don't have any american teams that can compete in it.

Europeans and pretty much the whole world think Americans are very arrogant. He's not very arrogant at all imo. His comments on the NA CS scene maybe a little too much, I wouldn't say it's dead, just stagnant right now.

The intro music made me laugh, I don't know if that was just me.

It has almost nothing to do with the support of the North American League, it has something to do with the sponsors and such, but yeah, your right in everything else.

im not sure what you mean. presumably size of a country has little to do with the popularity of a particular computer game in that country.

#11 i realize that image of americans as being arrogant and i completely understand that stereotype (i for the most part agree with it). i want to apologize for the way i worded that original post, i didnt really have any hostility towards europeans in general, i just found it quite pompous that this guy would agree to be interviewed by gotfrag, an american-run site, and start the interview by going out of his way to knock the finals for being in the states. jESUIT didn't ask him to compare the finals and the masters, only how he felt about being through group play. maybe i am taking things the wrong way and letting my jealousy of the euro 1.6 scene show.

anyways, i am anxious to see if mTw can come to san jose and sweep the finals in a similar fashion.
