I love how there's not a single stop in Texas, the biggest state in the whole god dern (swear filter, lol) continental United States. I'm glad we have such great decision makers and brilliant staff scheduling and starting cs tournaments.

#2 It's up to the cyber cafes in Texas if they want to host a tournament or not. Also they have to be part of iGames I think. It's not like they can just walk in and force them to host a tournament.

Upon using iGames' search tool, there is only one center in Austin and one in Houston. There are seven in San Antonio and none in Dallas. And those are the four largest cities in Texas.

I imagine (after seeing the details for the ones in San Antonio) that it basically comes down to whether or not any of the LAN centers meet the requirements; things like PC specs, internet connection speed, number of computers and location.

#3 is correct -

We need to be able to get LAN centers that want to do it -and- have the facilities and staff to do it well.

If I can get a center to host one in Texas (San Antonio specifically), can it still be added to the list or is it too late? Martin at XGC usually accepts the invite and I'm sure the other locations in SA have computers that are well beyond supporting 1.6.

It's too late to get in this Antec series, but there will be more sponsored events to come and TX will be welcome.

I am just so glad there is a NC stop..that never happens. I will try to be there for that just to have fun. Would be really nice to see Call of Duty 4 in a next one as well :).
