Counter-Strike: SoA releases CS team

Spirit of Amiga has confirmed the dismissal of the Counter-Strike team.

This decision comes one week after the team's disappointing campaign at ESWC Masters, where it finished last of its group with just one point in four games.

Rumours about changes in SoA emerged right after the organisation confirmed that the team would not attend the GameGune event, which is scheduled to take place in one week, because of the squad's poor form.

The organisation and the team have now decided to part ways, a decision that was, according to the press release issued by SoA, reached by mutual consent.

SoA further added that news concerning the future of the organisation will be released in the next few days.

That's what Iv'e heard , might be false tho.

Hopefully a new Danish team will pop back up to replace them. There's still a lot of talent around there, and I'd like to see some of these guys back on top ...

#21 How would u feel if ur company had a budget and not necessarily "wasted" money on the cs team by sending them to multiple tourneys.. but re-occuring bad placements?
