Counter-Strike: SoA confirms new CS team

Spirit of Amiga has announced the creation of a new Counter-Strike team.
The SoA organisation was left with no Counter-Strike squad following the dismissal of the Danish roster yesterday, a decision that came in the wake of the team's poor campaign at ESWC Masters.

SoA then engaged in negotiations with several teams and players, hoping that it would find the perfect replacement for the departing squad.

It has now revealed that it has agreed a deal with the former GameGear.nu squad, who finished in first place in the SLAP LIVE #15 event earlier this month.

"SoA has for a long time by now given many new faces the opportunity to further their eSport career," SoA said on its official website.

"With the situation in perspective in Denmark we have this time chosen to bring in a fairly new team with some new faces and talents – although they are nationally well renowned.

"We are aware that team is not yet at the level we want SoA to be, the level we have struggled to achieve for so long and the level that our former team came so far with."

Spirit of Amiga has the following line-up:

Denmark Christian "stagep" Stage
Denmark Emil "soga" von Buchwald
Denmark Troels "Zoop" Magnussen
Denmark Martin "woodi" Holm
Denmark Baljit "zE-" Lal
