Group E: x3o TBH.eSports Blacksouls team-coolermasterX3o is one of the two teams coming from the United States for GameGune. Winner of the first GotFrag Revial Tour tournament, 1st member of SteelSeries KotH Hall of Kings, currently in 3rd place in CEVO Pro Season 9, x3o set its hopes high for this tournament to prove that the North American Counter-Strike scene is not just about Evil Geniuses. TBH.eSports comes to GameGune with its new roster, having made a total of three changes since the end of the regular EPS season. The new line-up still has to prove what it can do at the highest level and this will be the perfect opportunity to do so. The TCM members are quite unknown outside the United Kingdom but some of them played the UKPL league (which GotFrag covered some months ago). Blacksouls, on the other hand, has in its ranks players with some experience but it should not be enough to pose any major threat to x3o or TBH.eSports. Group F: dimension4 Ledpc Earthquake*To be confirmed This is expected to be one of the most entertaining groups to watch. Dimension4 did not perform exactly well at ESWC Masters and will be more than interested in avoiding another disappointing tournament. Ledpc is the big Spanish hope for this tournament. The former Nextlevel squad, who qualified for the EPS Finals, will have its first big test with the new roster, which features former redCode player David "Kairi" Miguel, at GameGune. The Romanian team Earthquake is expected to do some damage here but it will have to overcome very strong opposition in order to not be sent back home right after three games. Dimension4's poor performance raises questions as to how well this team is prepared for this event. Ledpc's form is a big question mark but should put up a good fight for the top spot of the group. As for Eq, the team that comes from Romania has the material to surprise but that should be little or nothing against two teams that are better prepared. Group G: Evil Geniuses x6tence e-Sports Club ESC Gaming LastshowAfter a surprising campaign at KODE5, many were expecting Evil Geniuses to show the same level of play at ESWC Masters, however EG finished third in its group, six points behind mTw and e-STRO. EG will be out to prove their proficiency at international competition. X6tence has been on the spotlight for several weeks, but not for the best of reasons. The Spanish giant has failed to live up to its name and has not been in good form for almost a year. ESC Gaming travels to Bilbao with a new roster, led by former ZYKON member Christoph "loomit" Normann. The ESC line-up contains players with a lot of EPS experience, so with x6tence clearly in a poor moment, it has very good chances of staying on at GameGune. One must not forget about Lastshow, previously known as csm. This team has very experienced members and should always be a team to be careful with. Group H: Amazing Gaming Millenium K1ck eSports Club KonkurentaiThe battle for the top spot of the group should be made by Amazing Gaming and by it alone. The Ukrainian team, who also has in its ranks former Virtus.pro member Dmitry "hooch" Bogdanov, is one of this tournament's big guns and many expected the team to go very far. Millenium comes in as Amazing Gaming's main suitor. The French squad managed a second-place finish at ESWC France, having thus qualified for main event in San Jose. It has some very experienced names with it but the lack of international games from its other players will probably hinder its success in Bilbao. The Spanish team k1ck, previously known as Banned-Brigade and redCode, was the big surprise at Ciberline and, despite having lost one of its members to Ledpc, it still may have what it takes to put up a good fight with Millenium for the second spot of the group. The Lithuanian team Konkurentai was given one of the lowest seedings of the tournament and only a few expect it to mount a concerted bid for the top group places.
