The 2008 WCG China Qualifier finishes today, and the fhampionship final of Counter-Strike 1.6 will be taking place between team TyLoo and wNv.cn. Team Tyloo defeated wNv.cn 16-14 in the Upper Semi-Final, but wNv.cn managed to climb their way back to the Grand Final. Along the way they consecutively trounced OurStory, C9NPV and NR.Gaming in the Lower Semi-Final, Lower Final, and the Consolation Final respectively.

As the winner of Upper Bracket, team TyLoo has only one victory to go to the Global Finals on behalf of China. Meanwhile, wNv.cn has to win two matches in a row in the final to continue their domination after earlier triumph in the ESWC China Qualifier.
