Scott "evolution" Cavallero goes inactive and is replaced by Fadil "Nepo" Canovic in the Evil Geniuses USA roster.
In a rather shocking move, Scott "evolution" Cavallero has stepped down from the Evil Geniuses roster, into inactivity.

"Scott has a lot going on right now, and decided that he wanted to take some time off to prepare for non-gaming things in the fall." Alex Garfield, Team EG's manager, told GotFrag.com regarding the decision.

Cavallero has been a staple in the team's lineup since it's rise to the top of the North American scene. He was one of the three original members from the squad's WCG 2007 fourth place finish.

In his place, the team has decided to pick up Fadil "Nepo" Canovic. Canovic comes from teams such as makeSHIFT, iPlay.zoi, and most recently PoV.

The pick-up might come as a surprise to many, but Garfield is assured the team made the right decision.

"Anyone who knows the players at the core of our lineup realizes that they don't take roster changes lightly, and that a tremendous amount of thought is put into every decision. Although losing a player like Scott from the lineup is always difficult, we're very excited about Nepo."

The Evil Geniuses USA roster:

United States Nazar "steno" Vynnytsky
United States Michael "chE" Guevara
United States Ryan "NineSpot" Bell
United States Jordan "n0thing" Gilbert
United States Fadil "Nepo" Canovic
